PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a displacement detecting device which can detect an absolute value of displacement of an object to be measured. SOLUTION: This displacement detecting device is provided with a light source 2 which outputs a light beam turning to a reference independently of the displacement of an object 1 to be measured, a detecting part 4 which is attached to the object 1, receives the light beam and outputs a signal, and a signal processing part 40 which obtains the displacement of the object 1 from the change of receiving position of the light beam.
