PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic combustor having a structure of high mass productivity in which gasified fuel can be supplied substantially uniformly to a catalyst layer having a larger area than a gasification chamber and combusted stably. SOLUTION: In a catalytic combustor 5 having a catalyst layer 20 for combusting liquid fuel gasified in a gasification chamber 12, the gasification chamber 12 and the catalyst layer 20 are connected through a connecting part 30 spreading in multistage. When gasified fuel is supplied from the gasification chamber 12 having a smaller cross-sectional area than the catalyst layer 20, the fuel is spread smoothly and mixture gas is supplied uniformly even to the peripheral part of the catalyst layer 20. Consequently, stabilized combustion can be ensured entirely over the catalyst layer 20. The connecting part 30 spreading in multistage can be mass produced by deep drawing technology and when it is combined with a connecting part of flange structure, a high output catalytic combustor can be provided at low cost.
