摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitivity adjustment device for photosensor system and a sensitivity adjustment method therefor that can properly set an optimum sensitivity to excellently read an object image under various environments in the case that a double gate photosensor is applied to a two-dimensional sensor system. SOLUTION: A pre-reading operation to read an object image by varying the image read sensitivity of a photosensor array 100 for every row is executed, and on the basis of image data consisting of pixels corresponding to each photosensor being a component of the photosensor array, an adder 125 calculates a difference absolute value of lightness data between adjacent pixels for every row, a data comparator 124 extracts a representative difference for every row and also extract a row number having the largest representative difference (maximum difference) among the representative differences of each row, and writes and sets the image read sensitivity set to the row to a sensitivity setting register 127.
