PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit, having vertical pnp transistors from which a superior frequency characteristic can be obtained, without adding circuit elements. SOLUTION: A vertical pnp transistor Q4 for feeding a constant current I5 to the collector of an npn transistor Q3 is connected in parallel to a load resistor R2, connected between a power source VCC and the collector of the npn transistor Q3. The collector, the base and the emitter of the vertical pnp transistor Q4 are formed in an n-type region 2 on a semiconductor substrate in this order from the outside, the load resistor R2 has two series connected resistance parts R21, R22, and the connection point A between the two resistance parts R21, R22 is connected electrically to the n-type region 2.
