PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which can inexpensively correct a position deviation of images without increasing a processing time and can suppress image defects consequent to the correction. SOLUTION: A position deviation detect part calculates a position deviation amount (200), and a parameter judgment process part selects a parameter of a small effect on dot shape deformation generated at a correction time for a color of a large position deviation amount. A matrix select part variably assigns the selected parameter (202). A black/color correction process for correcting colors and generating a black optimum according to the selected and varied parameter is carried out (204). Data is converted to image data having a screen structure from a screen matrix changed according to the position deviation amount and image data after the color correction converted by a black/color correction part (206). The image data is processed by a pixel position correction according to the position deviation amount (208). |
