PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like material or a container which can be formed even without adding a chemical substance as a wood waste or a wood flour without chemically treating step. SOLUTION: The plate-like material or the container is molded by heating a wood waste or a wood flour, and adhering the waste or the flour by a lignin eluted by heating and pressurizing. In this case, the heating and the pressurizing are simultaneously realized, thereby obtaining the plate-like material or the container. Further, such simultaneous treatments not only remarkably improve its working efficiency but also the amount of an oxygen existing around the waste or the flour 1 is thin in an area for pressurizing, the possibility of the accident of the combustion of the waste or the flour 1 can be decreased. Even in the case of the simultaneous heating and pressurizing, a heating method by transmitting an electron beam 3 of a high frequency has a highly working efficiency and is hence convenient.
