PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic which gives pliability, smoothness, emollient effect and natural gloss to the hair, exhibits excellent inhibitory effect on the exfoliation (flaking) of the film of a polymer for fixation while holding fine set maintenance and shows good temporal stability by using it in combination with the polymer for hair fixation which shows not only light elongation and fresh feeling on use but also excellent conditioning effect, e.g. fine hair settlement or combability after being used, pliability, smoothness, emollient effect or the like, possesses the fine temporal stability that exhibits excellent usability free from accumulation and is used as a set agent. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is characterized by including a copolymer which contains (A) a monomer bearing a polyoxyalkylene group and (B) an organopolysiloxane monomer as constituent components in which (A) is contained in an amount of less than 15 wt.%.
