PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia information reproducing device and a multimedia information providing device that can reduce consumption of resources and reproduce information with high image quality. SOLUTION: An alteration method decision section 121 in a client 102 decides alteration information of multimedia information from information deciding an alternation system of multimedia information on the basis of scenario data and scenario data stored in an alteration method database 120, a scenario data alternation section 119 alters scenario information and a media data from conversion section 118 converts from media data on the basis of the alteration contents so as to build up new multimedia information thereby reflecting the contents on reproduction of succeeding multimedia information.
