The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), in particular an injection valve for fuel injection units on internal combustion engines, which comprises a piezo-electric, or magneto-strictive actuator (2) and a valve closing body (30) which may be operated by the actuator (2), by means of a valve needle (5) and which cooperates with a valve seating area (31), to form a tight seal. A spacer (18) is linked to a support plate (23), by a first flexible seal (24), the support plate (23) is linked to a carrier (25), on the valve needle (5), by a second flexible seal (27) and the carrier (25) is linked to the spacer (18), by a third flexible seal (28), which together form a closed hydraulic conversion device (15).
