PURPOSE: A method and device for manufacturing an electron tube stem and electronic tube are provided to manufacture high quality electron tube stems by properly setting disposition of lead-in wires. CONSTITUTION: Wells(5) are inserted into insertion grooves(17) in a mold lower die(12) by moving roller bodies(22). Since a coil spring(37) energizes the roller bodies(22) in contracting direction, pressurization is uniformly provided to the wells(5) in the radial direction of the mold lower die(12) to energize the coil spring(37) toward the center of the mold lower die(12) to be held. The roller bodies(22) move the wells(5) up and down. In forming an electron tube stem by press-molding, position deflection of the wells(5) can be prevented, so a pitch circle of the wells(5) can be kept round, thereby a leakage defect by the electron tube stem(1) can be prevented.
