PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for brazing fins on a plate substrate to prevent the corrugated fin and solder from being displaced, and wrong brazing defects or the like from occurring. SOLUTION: The substrate 20, a brazing sheet 40, and corrugated fins 30 are temporarily fixed by a provisional fixing jig 50 to form a prefabricated product 10, which is heat-treated to fixedly braze the fins 30 on the substrate 20. A member provided with a fin-fitted part 51 and a substrate-fitted part 52 is used as the provisional fixing jig 50. On forming the prefabricated product 10, the fin-fitted part 51 is fitted in a suitable state and the substrate-fitted part 52 is fitted in a suitable state, thereby, the fins 30 is temporarily fixed in a condition that the fins 30 are positioned opposite to the substrate 20.
