PURPOSE: Provided is a fabric winding apparatus capable of preventing raise of fabrics generated by the tension difference of fabrics by moving one side end of a variable roller positioned at a supply part for guiding fabrics to swing the advance direction of fabrics from side to side with a specified width when fabrics are moved to wind on a winding roller and changing a position of both edges of fabrics when fabrics are wound on the winding roller, thereby manufacturing time and improving merchandising property are reduced. CONSTITUTION: In a conventional fabric winding apparatus for dyeing in which dyed fabrics are wound on a winding roller by passing through a guide roller and a fabric expansion roller, one side end of a rotary shaft(101) of a variable roller(10) positioned at a supply part is inserted into a rolling bearing unit(20); another side end of the rotary shaft is inserted into an operating body(30); a guide rail(301) is installed at the upper and lower part of the operating part to move the operating body along the guide rail; a rack gear(302a) is formed on the outside surface of an operational rod(302) to be geared with a pinion gear(401) driven by a motor(40); an end part of the operational rod is attached to a sensing device(302b) to go and return one side end of the variable roller to left and right by adjusting rotation direction of the pinion gear.
