PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk type printer capable of executing a printing opera tion without having a printer function part on a desk surface 1 so that the desk surface 1 can be utilized in a wide state without wasting. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a flat desk surface 1, and a leg part 2 for supporting the desk surface. A sheet feeding part, a printing part and a sheet discharging part are provided below the desk surface 1. A predetermined printing operation is executed on an unprinted sheet fed from the sheet by the printing part so that the printed sheet is discharged to the outside by the sheet discharging part. A slitlike sheet feeding opening 7 is provided on the desk surface 1 on a sheet discharging line of the sheet feeding pat so that the unprinted sheet can be set in a sheet feeding tray 10 of the sheet feeding part. A discharging sheet receiving part 9 for receiving the printed sheet 8 discharged by the sheet discharging part is provided on the side surface of the desk.
