PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone fall protecting fence easy so install and less in deformation. SOLUTION: A plurality of columns are erected, the columns are connected together with net hanging lines and a net is mounted to the net hanging lines. Among force receiving lines longer than distances between the columns for connecting the columns, upper side force receiving lines are anchored to the net at positions lower than column anchoring points and lower side force receiving lines are anchored to the net at positions higher than the column anchoring points. Both force receiving lines neighboring each other with the columns held therebetween are connected with shock absorbing lines via slidable shock absorbers. The force receiving lines connecting the upper and lower parts of the columns are joined to the shock absorbing lines with the slidable shock absorbers.
