PURPOSE: A data display system and a method thereof are provided to display advertisement or market information in a credit card checker, to store the displayed information, and to output the stored information while performing the credit card checking process. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a credit card checking terminal, a transceiver(21), and a host computer(22). The credit card checking terminal includes input devices(13,14), a displaying device(15), a main controller(11), and a transceiver(12). The display device(15) displays the card processing information for example, a payment money, a credit card number or an approval number, and at the same time the advertisement or the market information offered via the transceiver(21) by the host computer(22). The card processing information is transmitted via the transceiver(12) between the credit card checking terminal and a credit card processing center. The market or advertisement information can be requested irrespective of the credit card processing.
