PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing recombinant yeast strain for lactoferrin expression by using recombinant vector pWE including lactoferrin gene which is used in transforming Candida methylica SKL60, which, in turn, produces recombinant lactoferrin in a high yield.. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing recombinant lactoferrin gene comprises the next steps of: i) separating RNA from Korean cow, using antibacterial cDNA to make a primer for amplifying antibacterial protein lactoferrin, and inserting the primer into vector pWE to make an expression vector pWE; ii) electrically shocking Candida methylica MXL-6 to insert the expression vector pWE to the bacteria; iii) pre-inducing the transformed strain with 10 % of glycerol and inducing the transformant again with 0.5-6% of ethanol; and iv) cultivating the bacteria in pH 4.0-6.0 of fermenter at 30 deg.C for 14-20 hours.
