PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the danger that a displayed object on a display shelf drops to the gap of the outer periphery of the display shelf or falls down by swing as a glass case is displaced to appear and disappear while the glass case is moved to appear and disappear from/to the inside of a base box and the displayed object is hidden by unfolding a shutter after housing the glass case inside the base box for a display case taking a burglar prevention measure. SOLUTION: By hiding the displayed object from the inside of the glass case 4 by the shutter 7, the need of displacing the glass case 4 to be elevated and lowered is eliminated and the danger that the displayed object drops to the gap 6 of the outer periphery of the display shelf 3 or falls down is eliminated. Since the display object is not moved, movable weight does not change and the need of leaving large reserve power in an elevating/lowering drive part or limiting the weight of the display object is eliminated as well. Since the shutter 7 is inside the base box 2 at the time of display, an appearance is not damaged.
