PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for preventing detachment of a metal pipe which can reduce the length of a joint body, slidably and surely seal the connected metal pipe, miniaturize the whole joint, and reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A packing to keep the metal pipe connected to one end or both ends of a joint body 10 in a watertight manner is fitted, a metal pipe holding member to tighten the outer circumferential surface of the metal pipe in the radial direction is provided outwardly in the axial direction of an expanded recessed part, and locked to an inner end part of the expanded recessed part of the joint body, a cylindrical part 63 extending along the outer circumferential surface of the metal pipe outwardly in the axial direction is expandable, and held and fixed by a tightening tool 70. A swollen cylindrical part to slidably store an expanded projecting part provided on an end part of the metal pipe is provided on one end part of the joint body, and the metal pipe is connected to the joint body in an expandable manner.
