The orientation and angle data of the momentary position of a digital image pick-up are led to a control computer to trigger an image pick-up sequence based on a preset orientation tolerance. The image data from the image pick-up are stored together with the orientation and angle data in a memory. A non-ferromagnetic plate forming a modular unit, the digital image pick-up, a DGSP receiver and a spatial orientation sensor are arranged on the receiving direction of a laser rangefinder. An Independent claim is also included for a terrestrial digital photogrammetry method.
