The hollow cylinder tube (22) has end lids (28,29) for a piston (23) riding in the tube with pressure chambers (32A,32B) to both sides. A hollow piston rod (24) has a base sector joined to the piston (23) and forward end sector led airtightly through the rod lid (29) to the outside of the cylinder tube (22). A hollow tube line (38) is joined at base to end lid (28) and led at forward end airtightly and slidably thrugh the piston (23) to open into the hollow sector (24a) of the piston rod (24). A head end connection (37A) in lid (28) connects to chamber (32A) by a passage (37B) in the lid (28) as opposed to a rod side connection (37B) which is joined to the line (38) through a lid (28) passage (37B). The hollow sector (24A) of the rod is linked by a port (24B) to pressure chamber (32B). Port (24B) lies close to the piston (23) at one position of the base end of the piston rod (24).
