PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact inverting device at a low cost for automatically inverting card-form sheets comparatively small and thick such as calling cards. SOLUTION: The inverting device for card-form sheets is equipped with a rotary disc 1 having a diameter approximately corresponding to the length of card-form sheet C, a first sensor 5 to sense that a card-form sheet is supplied to a specified position on the rotary disc by a follower roller 3 capable of pinching the sheet in pressure contacting with respect to a drive roller 2, a driving means 6 capable of rotating the rotary disc and drive roller simultaneously or the drive roller solely in the specified direction, a clutch means 7 transmitting the driving force from the driving means intermittently to the rotary disc, a second sensor 8 to sense the rotating position of the disc, and a control means 11 to control the clutch means so as to invert the sheet by engaging the clutch means in response to the first sensor so that the rotary disc is rotated in the same direction as the drive roller and exhaust the inverted sheet by the drive roller and follower roller by disengaging the clutch means in response to the second sensor.
