PURPOSE:To reproduce a magneto-optical disk by a high C/N over a long time by reading with the power to obtain approximately maximum signal noise ratio and impressing and reproducing an external magnetic field in the same direction as that at the time of writing the information. CONSTITUTION:Reading is executed by the power to obtain approximately maximum signal noise ratio and an external magnetic field is impressed in the same direction as that at the time of writing information and reproduction is executed. At this time, when the external magnetic field is the half or above of the intensity of the external magnetic field at the time of writing the information, a high C/N can be obtained over a long time. Namely, the magnetic domain, which is a recording pit, is elapsedly stabilized when the external magnetic field is in parallel to the magnetic domain magnetization direction, and when the field is not in parallel, the domain is not stable, and therefore, it is effective. |
