PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus suitable for efficiently performing an inspection and a treatment by quickly positioning a support device and a patient table for supporting an imaging system composed of an X-ray tube apparatus and an X-ray image receiving apparatus in a fluoroscopic photographing part of a patient. SOLUTION: A system for controlling an X-ray diagnostic apparatus is composed of a host controller for generally controlling the whole and subordinate controllers for controlling respective apparatus individuals. An operation command to an apparatus slow in a response is operated by directly inputting an operation command from an operation unit to the subordinate controllers for controlling a rotary movement of a C-arm, for example, to a rotary moving mechanism of the C-arm of a circulatory organ X-ray inspection apparatus. A contact avoiding processing means is arranged in the host controller for preventing the C-arm from contacting with the other C-arm and a patient table to thereby judge whether or not the C-arm contacts with the other C-arm and the patient table, and when the C-arm does not contact with these member, operation is performed by the operation command from the operation unit, and when there is the possibility of contact, the operation command from the host controller is changed to a noncontact operation command, and this is inputted to the subordinate controllers to be operated.
