PURPOSE: A treating agent used for culturing laver comprising maleic acid and dichlorosuccinic acid and having a pH in the range of 0.05 to 4 is provided, thereby excellent exterminating effects within a short time without causing environmental pollution are exhibited. CONSTITUTION: This treating agent is characterized in that it contains maleic acid, has a pH in the range of 0.05 to 4 and contains additionally dichlorosuccinic acid. For an example, 20% by weight of maleic acid, 10% by weight of dichlorosuccinic acid and 70% by weight of water are mixed and maintained at pH 0.43 to produce the titled treating agent. |
