PURPOSE: Provided is a spool brake power adjuster which rotates a magnetic holder in a spool cover and approaches or releases the holder to a braking drum axis so that it simplifies the configuration of the brake power adjuster. CONSTITUTION: The spool brake power adjuster in bait casting reel comprises the parts of: a spool(6) which is placed between a reel body and both side plates and rotated by a handle; a driving device which is placed at one side of the reel body to deliver the rotation of the handle to the spool and a level-wind carriage screw; a clutch device which is placed to operate the spool to be rotated freely by a clutch lever(15); and an adjuster for spool brake power which is placed between the reel side plate and a side cover.
