PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing digital DC voltage of a HDTV is provided to improve SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) by firstly removing a pilot signal in a front end of a matched filter and thereafter removing DC voltage of a signal outputted from the matched filter. CONSTITUTION: A DFPLL(Digital Frequency Phase-Locked Loop)(100) restores a signal transmitted in 8-ray PAM/VSB method to a base band signal. A pilot signal removing part(110) operates an I signal outputted from the DFPLL(100) and phase-reversed pilot signal for removing a pilot signal added from a transmitting terminal. A matched filter(120) filters the I signal passing through the pilot signal removing part(110) and a Q signal outputted from the DFPLL(100). A DC voltage removing part(130) removes DC voltage of a signal outputted from the matched filter(120).
