METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A method is provided to achieve an optimum operation of air conditioner by allowing operation of the compressor to be changed in real time in accordance with the operation state of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step(200-220) of judging whether the frequency characteristic is preset in accordance with the input voltage, setting frequency/voltage characteristics for the compressor in accordance with the input voltage if the frequency characteristic is not preset, and driving the compressor in accordance with thus-set frequency/voltage characteristics; a step(230) of driving the compressor in accordance with the preset frequency characteristic if the frequency characteristic is preset, and checking the operation state; a step(240) of comparing the data obtained by checking the operation state with the data preset in accordance with the operation characteristic; a step(250) of driving the compressor in accordance with the preset frequency/voltage characteristic if the data is the same as the preset data; and a step(260) of changing frequency/voltage characteristic of the compressor to become similar to the preset data and operating the compressor in accordance with the changed frequency/voltage characteristic, if the data is different from the preset data.
