PURPOSE: A setting method makes a hinge point of a tailgate to be set very quickly and removes the interference between the parting line of the tailgate and the parting line of a roof panel. CONSTITUTION: At first, G1 and G2 lines separated from a parting line(P1) of the middle side of a roof panel are drawn and a circle(C1) having a curvature same with the curvature(R) of the line(P1) is set to make the G1 line to become a tangent line. Then, an intersection point(I1) with the G2 line is found and a straight line(L1) for connecting a parting line(P2) of a tailgate with the intersection point(I1) is set. Then, a circle(C2) having the straight line(L1) of the diameter is set. Finally, an intersection point(I2) with the circle(C2) is set on the tailgate side by setting a straight line(L2) perpendicularly crossing and bisecting the circle(C2) and the straight line(L1), thereby making the intersection point(I2) to become a hinge point. |
