<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient fastening force by surely engaging with frictional engaging members while attaining the size reduction and electric power consumption reduction by enhancing magnetic efficiency of an electromagnetic clutch. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic clutch CL for joining a sleeve 31 to a housing 20 has a frinctional engaging member 27L joined (S2) by a spline to a transmission member 25L joined (S1) by a spline to the housing 20, a frictional engaging member 33L joined (S3) by a spline to an inner guide 32L integral with the sleeve 31, a coil 22L housed inside a core 21L and an armature 23L directly opposed to the coil 22L. When the armature 23L moves by being attracted by the coil 22L, a first pressure plate 28L connected to the transmission member 25L integrally joined to the armature 23L moves to sandwich the frictional engaging members 27L, 33L between the first pressure plate and a stopper plate 24L integrally joined to a core 21L to fasten the electromagnetic clutch CL.</p> |
