The insulating material comprises different layers, some of which are of reflective metallic film separated by air spaces or by layers of thermal and electrical insulating material able to absorb wavelengths between ultra-red and ultra-sonic, such as natural or synthetic materials of mineral, vegetable or animal origin. Preferred Features: The reflective layers can be irregular in form to break down radiation by diffraction or refraction. The insulating material can include wool, fur, feathers or vegetable fibres, treated to make it fire-resistant and prevent moisture absorption and to reduce carcinogenic effects.
