<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the component elements of a joint from being damaged or broken during connection of the joint, while maintaining the internal flow area of a female joint and preventing the entire joint from enlarging. SOLUTION: A supporting portion 40a is formed which supports a rod-shaped member 44 that opens when abutting against the male valve element 21 of a male joint 2. A loose fitting part 4d is formed in the portion of the rod-shaped member 44 supported by the supporting portion 40a at the rear of the female joint body 40 of a female joint 4. The loose fitting portion 44d fits into a hole 400 formed in the supporting portion 40a, while forming a radial gap and an axial gap therebetween. The radial gap enables the rod-shaped member 44 to be radially displaced relative to the female joint body 40 and the female valve element 41. The radial gap and the axial gap enable the rod-shaped member 44 to be tilted relative to the female joint body 40 and the female valve element 41. The above purpose can be achieved by the radial displacement and tilting.</p> |
