The suspended cantilever frames support a high level working platform for building construction purposes, having an 'L' shaped sub-frame (11, 16) of which the bar (16) outstand adjusts to suit different eaves overhangs etc. An acutely angled arm (12) cantilevered from the head of the post (11) to accommodate a grappling hook (13), projecting on the same side as the bar. A similarly angled and braced (28, 29) arm (27) projects from the vicinity of the post midpoint, locating on the opposite side to the bar (16) and providing support for walkway planking. The bar bears on the vertical face of the support structure (17) to provide the stabilising reaction and may be cottered in a sleeve by a captive pin (22) through alternative holes (24) at longitudinal intervals.
