PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage of a printing surface in double-sided printing. SOLUTION: A curl removing plate 38 is fixed to a suction tube 37 so as to be opposed to a suction hole 37a, and a guide plate 48 is installed between holders 42 and 42 rotatable at the tube 3. Ball chains 49A, 49B are clamped at a latching member 26 at one ends, and engaged with the plate 48 from below the tube 37 at the other end. Thus, the holders 42 are rotated clockwise, the chains 49A, 49A are interposed between a conveying passage of paper 51 and the tube 37 to deal with double-sided printing.
