PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin having small discoloring at injection molding. SOLUTION: To injection mold a polyarylene sulfide(PAS) resin, the resin is injection molded by using an injection molding machine having a screw including a screw compression ratio of 1.90 or less. In this case, the PAS resin is constituted mainly of -(Ar-S)- (wherein Ar is an arylene group) as a repeating unit. As the arylene group, for example, a p-phenylene group, an m-phenylene group, an o-phenylene group, a substituted phenylene group, a p,p'-diphenylene sulfone group, a p,p'-biphenylene group, a p,p'-diphenylene ether group, a p,p'- diphenylenecarbonyl group, a naphthalene group or the like is used.
