PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flavor enhancer for fermented foods and drinks, capable of enhancing sustainable sweet fermentation feeling of foods and drinks and thereby capable of obtaining fermented foods excellent in palatability. SOLUTION: This flavor enhance for fermented foods and drinks is obtained by formulating an optically active or recemic cis-6-dodecen-4-olide singly, or its combination with at least one kind selected from the group consisting of 2,6-dimethyl-5-hepten-4-olide, 3,7-decadien-5-olide, 2 or 4-methyl-2-prenyl-4-olide, cis-3-methyl-4-decanolide, cis-3-dencen-5-olide, cis-7-decen-4-olide and 2-decen-5- olide. |
