摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore leakage between an electrode for additional capacity and a common wiring for additional capacity without generating the luminance difference between adjacent pixels in an active matrix type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: Two additional capacities 4, 5 whose values of capacity are equal are formed and an auxiliary capacity 7 in which a part of a scanning wiring 1 and a part of a pixel electrode 3 are overlapped across an insulating film is formed. Then, the value of capacity Cgdr of the auxiliary capacity 7 is set to a value expressed by the following equation (A). Cgdr=Cgdtft.Cs/(Clc+Cs)...(A). Provided, Cgdtft indicates the value of the parasitic capacity between the gate and the drain of a TFT 8 and Clc indicates the value of capacity at the time of the intermediate display of the liquid crystal layer constituting respective pixels and Cs indicates values of capacity of the additional capacities 4, 5. When a leakage defect is generated at one side of the two additional capacities 4, 5, the additional capacity in which the leakage is generated is cut off and also the auxiliary capacity 7 is cut off.</p>
