Governing and cable retrieving unit for elevating equipment with two-way parachutes

Governing unit (1) in charge of jamming the system when the speed exceeds the nominal speed by a certain percentage, the operation of which is based on the cam follower mechanism and in which the cable retriever unit (5) is meant to prevent an elevation of tension pulley (5) and loss of friction in governor (1) during braking in upwards motion due to the lower load on the governing cable. The unit consists of two tie-rods (7 and 8), a spring (6) in charge of taking up the upwards path of the tension pulley and a microcontact (10).
