PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jellyfish removing method and a device therefor killing no removed jellyfish and causing no problem in points of a scene and a water quality and in points of disposing of a dead jellyfish. SOLUTION: This jellyfish removing method and a device therefor are provided with a jellyfish inflow preventive net 11 slantingly arranged in a vertical intake 10 of a type arranged slightly apart from a shoreline so as to expand toward the lower side from the upper side of the vertical intake 10 by surrounding the vertical intake 10 and buoyancy adjustable ascending/descending buoys 12 as an operation means for moving the net 11 in the vertical direction so that a jellyfish separates.
