PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of deflection in the operation timing of each valve body integrally installing each valve body of a purge valve and an exhaust valve, in the utilization of the exhaust supplied from the air compression equipment as the purge air for regenerating a desiccating agent. CONSTITUTION:The captioned air dryer 2 consists of a cylindrical case 22 which has an outlet 11 formed at the upper edge and accommodates a desiccating agent 24 and a lower part body 23 which is installed into the lower part of the case 22 and has an inlet 10, brake valve port 33, and a brake actuator port 34 which are formed on the side surface. A piston 42 is arranged in movable ways in the vertical direction at the center part of the lower part body 23, and the valve body 18a of a purge valve 18 is installed onto a lower rod 43. Further, the disc-shaped exhaust valve body 47a of an exhaust valve 47 is integrally installed onto the upper rod 46 of the piston 42 and opened when the purge valve body 18a is closed, and the valve 47 is closed when the opening degree of the purge valve body 18a reaches a prescribed value.
