PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film transfer tape adapted so that its pressure- sensitive adhesive layer can be exactly cut without using any cutter and can be transferred. SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 12 is composed of a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer 3 and a base tape 5. A plurality of parallel protruding streaks 8 rectangular to the winding direction on the upper surface of the tape 5, and thin-coated parts 11 coinciding with the streaks 8 are formed on the surface on the side of the tape 5 of the layer 3 applied thereto. When in use, the adhesive is pressed against the surface of e.g. paper, whereupon the adhesive can be cut easily and exactly at the thin-coated part of any desired position and the area of contact between the base tape containing the related protruding streak and the pressure-sensitive adhesive increases to heighten the force of holding both. The protruding streaks on the bottom of the pressure-sensitive tape prevents the tape from blocking to the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape laid thereon.
