PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die set which allows pressing a rod stock three- dimensionally at a time, the pressing method, and further provide an accelerator pedal rod produced with the die set or the method. SOLUTION: The die set 6 is composed of upper dies 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and lower dies 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 and horizontal dies 25 and 35, of which the vertically movable lower die 17 is located in a top position 17A and slopes 25b and 35b of which the horizontal dies 25 and 35 kept slidable horizontally are pushed with slopes 29a and 39a of pushers 29 and 39 mounted at a slide 2. As for a working process, at first the upper die 10 and the lower die 17 move down while grasping a rod stock 4 thereby, then horizontal press working starts, and vertical press working starts afterwards.
