PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-reduced iron producing apparatus, in which the apparatus is simplified by unnecessitating a pelletizer and a drier and on the other hand, the product efficiency in a reduction furnace can be improved by supplying formed raw material into a rotation type furnace hearth with the distributing quantity as needed. SOLUTION: A raw material supplying device 1 arranged on the reducing furnace 30 is consisting of a hopper 2 for receiving raw material powder, which receives the raw material mixed powder mixed with a mixer 42 with the uniform distribution through a shuttle conveyor 4, and a compacting-forming means 3 which can continuously supply onto the rotation type furnace hearth 4 after compacting and forming the received raw material mixed powder into the necessary density in the linear state of short rectangular shapes. This compacting-forming means 3 is provided with a roll feeder 1 which is formed as a tapered shape so that the compacted-formed bodies 13 can be supplied onto the rotation type furnace hearth 4 with the uniform distribution and can cut the compact-formed bodies 13 to the longitudinal direction, and a tapered divider roll 14 which can cut the compact-formed bodies formed with this roll feeder 11 to the lateral direction.
