PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, such as a pachinko machine, accompanied by a varying display of identification information on an image display device, wherein discontinuous display of a special pattern (e.g. varying display with change in varying speed) can be implemented through simple processing without a feeling of wrongness. SOLUTION: This game machine is so constituted that, when the continuity of the varying display of a special pattern is broken by a discontinuous varying display, the identification information in a varying display area where the discontinuous varying display is performed is concealed and made invisible.
