PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility in the case of confirming a visitor who has made a calling operation, while the resident went out and is absent from the house. SOLUTION: A display device 24 displays the image of a visitor photographed by a camera 11 of an entrance slave set 1, when a control section 20 is set to an at-home mode through the operation of an operation section 22 of an indoor master set 2. When the control section 20 is set to a visit mode, the image is stored in an image memory 26 as a still image via an image recognition section 25. A binary processing section of the image recognition section 2 outputs white pixels to a centroid measurement section, when each frame of the image of the visitor is within all RGB ranges by referring to a threshold preset to prescribed ranges of R (Rlow-Rhigh), G (Glow-Ghigh), and B (Blow- Bhigh). The centroid measurement section calculates a centroid of the received white level areas, calculates an evaluation value, whose value is highest in the image where an upper half of the visitor's body is in existence in the middle of the screen for each frame and stores only one image into the image memory, every time the maximum value is updated.
