APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING MESSAGE USING X.400 PROTOCOL OF ELECTRONIC APPROVAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving message using X.400 protocol of an electronic approval system are provided to transmit and receive messages between the electronic approval systems using private protocol different from each other. CONSTITUTION: An electronic approval part(20) processes the whole process from document drafting to charge of business rules and custom to process approval in one seat by using a terminal(10). A MTA(Message Transfer Agent)(80) is connected with a X.400 network for transmitting X.400 reference message transmitted through the X.400 network to a memory part(70) and transmitting the X.400 reference message transmitted through the memory part(70) to the X.400 network. A transmission message converting part(50) converts the message into the form of X.400 reference message to transmit the message to the outside, and loads the transmitter/receiver address to the MTA(80) through the memory part(70). A receipt message converting part(60) converts the X.400 message transmitted from the MTA(80) into the form recognizable in the electronic approval system for transmitting to the X.400 network. A memory part(30) transmits the message transmitted from the electronic approval part(20) to the transmission message converting part(50) or transmits the message transmitted from the receipt message converting part(60) to the electronic approval part(20). A scheduler(40) receives a request from the electronic approval part(20) and the MTA(80) for controlling the execution of the receipt message converting part(50) and the transmission message converting part(60).
