INTER-PROCESSOR INTERRUPT PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE: An inter-processor interrupt processing method is provided to rapidly transmit an interrupt generated, and to minimize an interrupt lost by storing the interrupt every time relevant interrupt is generated in transmitting and receiving relevant interrupt, and by successively transmitting the interrupt. CONSTITUTION: Interrupt descriptor units equipped in a shared memory are initialized(S1). A transmitting side processor confirms a position of a descriptor which will transmits interrupt information to the first interrupt descriptor unit(S2). The interrupt information is stored in the descriptor(S3). The position of the descriptor is increased(S4). The second stage(S2) is repeatedly performed(S5). A receiving side processor senses the interrupt generated from the transmitting side processor(S6). A position of the descriptor which will receive the interrupt information is confirmed(S7). The position of the transmitting side descriptor compares with the position of the receiving side descriptor(S8). An operation performance of interrupt information reception is completed(S9). The interrupt information is read from the descriptor relevant to the position of the reception descriptor(S10). An interrupt handler routine is processed according to the interrupt information(S11). The position of the reception descriptor is increased(S12).
