PURPOSE: A bank note binding apparatus is provided to enable a bank worker to easily bind a large quantity of bank notes in the banking field so that it can enhance a work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a front plate(11), a rear plate(12), a drum(13), a drive motor(14), gears(15,19), a tape fixture member(16), a tape feeder(17), and a tape adhesion and cutting device(18). The front plate(11), vertically fixed, is a flat plate and has a drum assembly groove(11a). The drum assembly groove(11a), formed at an upper part of the front plate(11), assembles with a circumferential part of the drum(13). The drum(13) includes a cylindrical bank note arrangement module(13a), timing gears(13b,13c), and a support shaft(13d). The motor(14), installed at a rear part of the plate(12), drives the drum(13) with a worm(14a) installed at a rotary shaft. The worm(14a) is geared with a drive gear of the drum(13). The tape fixture member(16) fixes an end of the binding tape while moving to the bank note arrangement module(13a) according to a rotary angle of the drum(13).
