PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a sufficient quantity of light with reflecting faces in a longitudinal structure. SOLUTION: A lighting device comprises a pair of primary reflecting members 1, 2 having reflecting faces 1a, 2a being rotational ellipsoids and opposed to each other with first focuses 1b, 2b shared with each other, a light source 3 arranged on the shared first focuses 1b, 2b, and a pair of secondary reflecting members 4, 5 having optically different reflecting faces 4a, 5a and provided outside the pair of primary reflecting members 1, 2 with focuses 4b, 5b on the reflecting faces located almost corresponding to the respective second focuses 1c, 2c of the pair of primary reflecting members 1, 2 for reflecting light from the primary reflecting members 1, 2.
