PURPOSE: An oil pan is provided to compactly and easily connect cooling water pipes by installing a cooling water path in an oil pan. CONSTITUTION: An oil pan(40) having a wall(40'), a bottom(40") and a space(41) are mounted at the lower portion of an engine to supply lubricating oil to the piston of the engine and a cylinder wall. A cooling water pipe is formed through the wall in the shortest distance. For easy piping without interruption by a crank shaft, a cooling water path unit(45) is formed through the space. The cooling water path unit is composed of at least one among a hollow core protrusion(46) or an insert pipe(47). The cooling water path unit has an inclined corner for easy piping. The insert pipe has a flange on each end. Cooling water flows via the cooling water path unit, and the cooling water pipe is installed without passing through the upper or front portion of the engine. According to compact structure of the engine, the engine is conveniently installed in such a small place as a ship.
