PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite container having a high strength of a flange section in which the fitting state of a container main body with a tray is stabilized and the tray is not rotated nor moved up and down. SOLUTION: A composite container is provided with a container main body 10 having paper side walls 11, a paper bottom wall 12 and leg sections 13 formed on the bottom and a plastic tray 20 to be fitted on the legs 13 of the container main body 10, and a flange 22 of the flat plate shape is formed on the upper section of a tray section 21 of the tray 20, and side face flanges 23 are formed on the outer peripheries of the flanges 22.
